Dr Karen Grandison - Principal Educational Psychologist
I joined Telford and Wrekin Educational Psychology Service on a temporary basis in February 2017 and was fortunate enough to be appointed Principal EP in September 2017. I have previously worked for Wolverhampton and Walsall Educational Psychology Services. I completed my professional training at Sheffield University many years ago and obtained my doctoral qualification at the University of Birmingham. Experience to date includes leadership of educational psychology services and associated teams and as an academic and professional tutor at the University of Birmingham.
My doctoral research focused on emotionally based school refusal and other interests include counselling, working with children who have experienced trauma and the application of consultation as a way of delivering EP services.
